Due to the limited availability of meeting locations, the November 10th membership meeting of the Milwaukee Philatelic Society has been cancelled.
The Milwaukee Philatelic Society will have an in-person membership meeting in the Sonia Bielmeier Room at the Brookfield Public Library, 1900 North Calhoun Road, on Wednesday, December 2nd from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be a short informational meeting to include the results of the election of the Milwaukee Philatelic Society board of directors for 2021 and will be followed by a program on "The Basics of Expertizing". An oral auction will then follow the program. Circuit sales books from the APS will be available for members to purchase stamps from. Face masks will be required and no one should attend if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms of sickness or have been in close contact of another person experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms of sickness. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own personal disinfectant. All safety precautions will be enforced throughout the meeting. The meeting room has a capacity of 130 people so there will be ample space for distancing. Guests are permitted to attend.
Due to the Wauwatosa Public Library's current prohibition of the use of their meeting rooms, the January 12th, February 9th & March 9th membership meetings are currently on hold pending further decisions concerning their locations & dates.

All Milwaukee Philatelic Society members should have recently received in the mail their ballot for the election of the board of directors for 2021. Please make sure to return your completed ballot no later than December 2nd, either through the mail or in person at the December 2nd membership meeting. Any completed ballots not received prior to the start of the December 2nd membership meeting will be rejected.
Membership dues for members currently in good standing have been waived for 2021. Any member who has already paid their membership dues for 2021 will have their membership extended through 2022. New members who join in 2021 will receive two years of membership for $10 instead of one year of membership.
